Taper ends as shown for a headband.<\/p>\n Measure around head to decide elastic length. I used 20″. Knot ends.<\/p>\n 2)Place elastic at center of fabric band<\/strong>. Start stitching, make sure not to stitch elastic.<\/p>\n 3)Zig zag stitch<\/strong> until you reach the knot. Keep needle inserted in fabric and presser foot down, pull elastic<\/b> to gather ruffle and extend elastic.<\/p>\n 4)<\/strong>Continue<\/b> to zig zag elastic in place up to new knot location. Repeat<\/b> stitching and pulling elastic until you reach the end of the fabric strip.<\/p>\n 5)<\/strong>Tie ends<\/b> of elastic together<\/p>\n 6)<\/strong>Fluff and wear!
