With this yarn hair technique you can make a wonderful lush hairdo. If you prefer the crochet cap can be a base to simply add braids or ponytails.<\/p>\n

INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Supplies: yarn, crochet hook (I used 4 ply yarn and a #5 crochet hook for this doll)<\/p>\n

1) Crochet several 12″ Long chains. You can make more as needed.<\/p>\n

2) Establish and mark a hairline on your doll. Pin a strand around that hairline. Tip: keep pins raised, for easy removal at completion of hair making.<\/p>\n

3) Wrap chains around head as shown. Hand stitch chains in place. You can also totally cover the scalp if you prefer.<\/p>\n

4) Decide length of hair.Wrap and cut a pile of yarn pieces to desired hair length.<\/a><\/p>\n

5) Using crochet hook, attach yarn pieces one by one or several at a time to crochet cap.<\/p>\n

6) Trim and style.<\/p>\n
