Easy or super speed sewing: what do you prefer?

Are you looking for easy sewing or super sonic quickie sewing? Our flag project posts are examples of what can make a huge difference in sewing time. The difference in sewing time is the way the edges are finished.

After posting the easy party flags it haunted me that there could be a faster construction for flags, thus the quickie mini flag post was added to our project offerings. The original party flag is a neat flag with stitched and turned edges. These classic flags tie together and can be part of many years of parties and events. This type of construction is best for making medium and large flags and banners.

For a spontaneous party, the quickie mini flags can be a way to go. Made with tightly woven fabric and cut on the bias, these flags can quickly be made in quantity  to create an exciting party environment. The bias edges are a nice lightweight finish that will not fray with gentle handling. These flags are a great way to make many flags when you want to go over the top stringing quantities, sizes and colors.

If you check out both party flag posts, let us know what your preference is: classic clean lined finish or super sonic bias raw edges.
